Telco CXOs of Etisalat, du, STC, Nawras, Oger Telecoms to gather for their wisdom bites at the Abu Dhabi Telecoms CEO Summit
6 May 2012, Dubai – The Middle Eastern telecom industry will descend in Abu Dhabi in less than two weeks for the 4th edition of Abu Dhabi Telecoms CEO Summit. Under the patronage of H.E. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE Minister of Economy, over 500 high profile attendees from the telco operators, vendors and service provider community will be gathering at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) on 14th May 2012.
With the increasing availability of LTE devices, LTE networks and its promotion by the operators, this fairly new technology seems to be gaining a momentum in the region, and the most topical issue among the operators. Speakers from Etisalat, du, STC, ZTE will give deeper insights on the LTE technology during the second half of the Abu Dhabi Telecoms CEO Summit, on the success rate and obstacles faced on launching LTE in the past one year.
Another key highlight for this years’ edition will be Dr. Anne Bouverot, Director General of GSMA, which represents the interests of nearly 800 mobile operators across 219 countries. She will be speaking on ‘Building the Connected Economy’, discussing the drivers of the connected economy and how they will impact the lives of consumers and businesses in the Middle East and Africa.
